After over a year of testing at the hardest events in the UK and Europe we have proven the layout and setup of our kit and so are ready to release it for sale.
The kit is designed to be a "bolt in" replacement for the standard TD5 gearbox, meaning the total length is the same as a standard TD5 gearbox setup, utilising the Discovery 4 8 HP Gearbox and torque converter. Meaning no new custom propshafts required, the only one were aware of on the market that is the same total length. Using the standard td5 flywheel and crank sensor for complete piece of mind that there is no interference with engine running or performance.
The kit comprises of:
Front Billet Aluminium adaptor
Flex plate adaptor between 3 bolt TD5 and 4 bolt D4
Rear Billet Aluminium Adaptor
300M heat treated adaptor shaft
Full instruction manual for aid of fitting
All bolts, dowels and seals included to assemble the full kit!
This is a completely mechanical kit and does not include and Gearbox ecus, wiring or electronics. There are several companies available for this side of the conversion. Add on such as, mounts, oil cooler adapters and other various parts to follow and should be available to purchase when these kits are ready.
Customer to source own gearbox, replacement filter, oil etc.
