used to shorten a TF140 4" bump stop to 2" internal travel where the full length of travel isnt needed. 
 
good rule of thumb is 1/3 of up travel should be in hydro bump for bottom out cushoning so a car with 6" of up travel from ride height should have 2" of bumpstop travel.
